Tired cause I care

Tired of seeing shadows

remnants of light not there

Sick of the reexamining

Sick of sifting through stale dreams

Please show me a way to forget

Please take away old tears and screams

I thought I could make sense of it

I thought I could build a fresh start

I must have been in a fairy tale

full of good intentioned parts

Tempted to spit out my truth

Tempted to loose the censored tongue

I can't keep holding in my words

as my sanity's almost wrung

What's the worst that can come of this,

What torment's worse than the unknown?

Only loss can make us stronger,
