The fear just melts away right now

as energy starts to build

I can't help finding new joy in this

a refreshing dream fulfilled

The embers of those chaotic years

formerly languishing on a shelf

They've found their space to celebrate

now debuted as treasures of self

It brings a certain blinding joy

as relief and triumph collide

The means to spread my cherished verse

It's the best gift life could provide
