Sometimes I feel so frozen

painfully socially inept

It's always come and gone for me

yet lately it's harder to accept

You like to think you've made your peace

left the reclusive state of mind

It should be so effortless to reach out

when friendly faces are easy to find

Still you make up sham excuses

justify how they could push you away

You yearn for the strength to risk it

Show them your open heart's here to stay
