I write to vent so a lot of my poetry does its own thing, I guess lol.

Why, my friend!
You're gorgeous!
Why is it I'm only now
Noticing the way
Your eyes light up?
All those silent nights
Where we've held hands
In Dreamland, dreamscape,
Scraping by in bitter reality,
Burdened with harsh destiny.
We'll mutiny the stars,
If we ultimately must,
Just don't give up on us;
Please, don't give up on us.
I meet the people I should,
I greet the people I know;
If love has taught me anything,
I just hope I let it show.
Please, let go and let love
Show you the way.
