I've loved and lostand found again I've been divinely right and so wrong It never ceases to blow my mind how my path it shifts along It's brought me into the anguished cries I've known here the spark-less dark I cling to faith and its empty space when nothing else hits the mark It takes only a peaceful breath My spirit prepares takes flight I sense a flame luminescing on Eyes wide open take in such sight ------------------

The sad ones are good, because pain lends itself so well to poetry, but it's nice to see a happy one peek through every now and then.------------------

Thanks, Randall. You are right, if life was shiny and joyous and we pretended pain never existed, many beautiful creative endeavors would never have brought into being. I don't always memorialize the joyful moments as I do the painful ones, I think mainly because I don't seek to analyze the joy and analyzing is what fuels my creative fire...it's venting on paper (so to speak) so no one can get angry with me for how I feel and no one gets hurt. ------------------
