Cannot take them back
and my heart's worn on my sleeve

Waxing poetic is dangerous
when you spill your gut vibes
and you can't tell how they'll sound

You speak from your center
that warm tender spot
usually guarded with high spiked fence

It's such a risk
to uncover your pulse
never knowing what could be in store
