i know we have some slick artists here.

What are your fave PS techniques? I have Corel Painter too, but am too busy to learn it atm.

If you use a Wacom Cintiq tablet, I'd like to hear any tips you use on that end too.

I've had mine for a few years and am trying to get more comfortable with it. Have it set up to work best for me I think. Always looking for more ideas.

Best thing I did was learn how to make my own brushes.

Please share fave books, links and tips here.

dug these out of my book collection:

Photoshop CS5 Pocket Guide
for a small book it has a lot of helpful tips

Painter 11 Wow book
by Cher Threinin-Pendarvis

Painter 11 Creativity
by Jeremy Sutton

Secrets of Corel Painter Experts
Daryl Wise and Linda Hellfritsch

I really want to learn Painter. But I keep going back to PS when I experiment.

I'll either email you soon, or send you a proper letter. I'm hoping to get something out to you soon - that you should have had a year ago. (After all this, I hope it's worth it for you!! )
