Hello Stranger

Over thirty years we've been acquainted,

it seems I know you less and less,

when I think I've got to the heart of you

my opinion I'm compelled to redress.

An enigma within a conundrum,

a jigsaw puzzle without the final piece,

standing face to face in eyelock

my curiosity will not cease.

***

But to obsess on this quandary,

analyse every word and thought,

would be indulgence most folly

time lost that cant be bought.

***

So I'll cover ever mirror

with a cloth of darkest hue,

and let the stranger walk her path

and on her journey ,to herself be true.
