Planet of fog and clarity,
Please pick one direction and stick it out
When you keep sticking my Moon with a sharp stick
I'm just tempted to find a nice dark cave

You make me lose my center
You show me things I'll never have
Why do you like these mirages,
why is my pain such a game?

I can't put faith in hunches
My gut has lost it's knack
I grab onto things that should be real
And find I'm delusional or missing facts

I'd like to trust what people say
I'd love to have my radar back
Show me what I need to placate you
And I'll gladly give you all of that

"why is my pain such a game?"

Hits the spot for me.

I have Venus conjunct Neptune, so especially when I dated men my age, Neptune was always yanking me (us) around big time. It felt like I was being forced to learn that love is the most important, magical thing...that can disappear in a split second and punish you for believing in it in the first place.

Venus conjunct Neptune...you must feel a real idealistic view of love, and be super sensitive to your loved ones...it's such a neat gift, even when the pain feels blinding.

I feel fortunate to be able to share this moment of time with you, as true empathy dilutes the sting...and it reminds me of another poem of mine, which I will try to bump up as I know you'll feel it too

P.S. It's about half-way down the thread titled "another dumb poem", called 'Distribeel'...

Thank you~ I commented there! When I read your comment earlier today, I was in a hurry, and didn't notice you were referring to a poem YOU wrote. So I was happily surprised to find three poems on the thread!

There's a line from a song I like called Alright by Reamonn....it goes, "Reach for the love that's all around." In other words, just NOTICE that you really aren't alone!

But then I'm always wondering to myself...is that really true? Is it like an ocean of empathy out there?

The poems you shared helped me tap deeper into the fact that it's true.
