Slitting my wrists to free the pulse Spilling lifeblood to create A controlled gush of inspiration and it swirls around on this slate To paint in blood the verse and visage I relinquish a piece of my soul It cannot be reclaimed or saved and I'm weakened by the toll I pour out the secret colors mixing in my very flesh Meld them into the willing paper in purest truth, they're now enmeshed If you see these out-poured splatters Grasp the bloody debt I've paid I gift to you some special lenses to know just how my heart is made------------------ Check out my poetry! <3 https://www.facebook.com/KKaneskyPoet IP: Logged |

sweet Virgo-Aries/Artist! precious muse of Mercury and Mars--ART is the preservation of life and work, "living" and being in health. Slit, and Pour.... YOUR muse's battle-cry says that your tool is to EXPRESS and create through words! Let your tears flow freely onto the pages using your words and the gift of language... Staying safe? Where is 80 Sappho in your chart? This asteroid governs the principle of romantic and artistic sensitivity (D. Bloch, & Demetra George) My muse of 'poetic & artistic sensibilities' is at 7.55 Pisces! Just discovered yesterday that I've had transiting CHIRON (wounding) triggering this point, in my (intercepted) 3rd House. Where's yours? IP: Logged |

Amazing, V-A-A! @Chris, My NN is 20 Scorpio, maybe that's why I like your poetry so much, too. @mirage Thanks for that comment about Sapho...mine's at 6 Cap, conjunct Photographica...another reason I'm visually-oriented? =) IP: Logged |

My Sappho is at 15 degrees Libra, in my 7th house...sorta conjunct my descendant of 8 degrees Libra. I'd love to know more about Sappho

Thanks, Swift Freeze. I am grateful to have this loving embracing community to share with, and trust implicitly. I was musing on how much of myself I put into the portraits I used to draw, and I had to sacrifice to "get" the face (mainly eyes) right. I feel the same of my poetry, so raw and vulnerable when I share it...it hurts and energizes me simultaneously.
