Childhood, it had its own glow, A different little world, lost far back in time. When imaginations began to richly flow, When there was magic, and a peaceful chime. A queer, yet a delightful phase, When the shadows of reality, were kept at bay. So joyous and breath-taking, were those days, When life was care-free, as we rightfully say. When our souls weren’t tainted, by the touch of greed, or the thirst for vengeance. When our minds were seeded, by seeds of love and of explict joyance. I walk the same path, that I used to before, but now something’s odd, now something’s lost. Now I don’t feel that magic, or that serenity in my core, I’ve grown up to be wise, but at my childhood’s cost. I feel like warping back to that time, to collect what was lost and embrace it all over. And never to move on, to be im my prime, but now it feels like a dream, lost forever..
