Can I tell you what I see?
With all the pretty clouds beneath me,
Like a field of ice and snow,
So peaceful far below.

And the wind it feels so free,
brushing up against me,
maybe one day i'll learn to fly
but until then i'll just gaze up at the sky.

Can I fall into the air,
With not a worry or a care,
no one else but me and you up there.

Can I fly beneath the sea,
think of all the things we'd see,
no one else but, you and me.

I'll think of all the things we've seen
I'll think of you right here with me,
and I'll close my pretty eyes and dream.

Can I tell you what I see?
a beautiful tropical fantasy
its like a private exploration
that fills me with elation

All the colours bursting through
all the life with vibrant hue
it's my private underwater scene,
but until then i'll just gaze out, so serene.

Can I fall into the air,
With not a worry or a care,
no one else but me and you, there.

Can I fly beneath the sea,
think of all the things we'd see,
no one else but, you and me.

I'll think of all the things we've seen
I'll think of you right here with me,

To dream is to be free,
Is what someone wise once told me,
any fantasy you can weave,
all you have to do is close your eyes and believe.

Can I tell you what I feel,
What's fantasy and what's real,
and what's bursting in my heart,
so please come and take part,

We can hide away for a while,
just sit and laugh and smile,
we'll build a house up in a tree,
just come and take my hand, and dream with me.

I would have to write the music to it first, then decide to record it. It's safe to say I will never be singing it for anyone.
