These are the stumps I was talking about that I think would make great bird baths or planters (if the sawed side were used as the base): The second one: It's a bright day out there today. IP: Logged |

...birdbaths for flamingos or ostriches, i take it??? They are ginormous! LOLBut yeah, would look pretty cool. Especially that last pic.....that one looks like a splash of water frozen in time. The might even look good with the larger part of the stump in the ground and a huge bowl on the flat surface. They look like they weigh a ton and the second one almost reminds me of a sculpture that is supposed to be there....or something that washed up from out of the sea. IP: Logged |

....there's potential for it to become a hibiscus that way also.head on, it kind of resembles a poppy too. in the last quoted photo, picture it painted red with a black center (after cutting down some of the center). IP: Logged |

...actually either way, it would probably look better on it's side like it is, rather than trying to stick it in the ground. that might take a crane to do. lolIP: Logged |

That would be cool as well. I think they both could be great art pieces in the right hands. I wish I could get my hands on smaller versions.Yeah, it probably would take a crane, or some heavy equipment of some sort. It could be a nice centerpiece to some landscape architecture. IP: Logged |
