So, I am a very great poet, and just wanted to get people's feedback on this one I wrote a while back. I don't know what inspired me to write the poem but here it is.

A maiden dead before her prime,
Lies cold and buried beneath the grime,
She was brought to her grave so decadently in white,
As she was free of touch and void of light,
I never did try to know her or her hopes and dreams,
But she was beautiful in her coffin, peaceful it seems,
What could she have been like?
That girl with hair brown as a tike
A vixen, a perfect maid, a lover, or a dreamer?
Perhaps a writer a naughty little schemer,
It pains me that I never knew,
As now her face is pale and blue,
We could have talked for hours and days,
Of things benign and things wretched in their ways,
I can imagine her voice so sweet and full of life,
But now she is gone, to that eternal light,
And all that remains is a cold, cold body,
To decay beside the dirt and debris
