I show love
by feeding you until you are full

Explaining myself, leaving no room for doubt
paying attention to detail
while trying to leave nothing out

Showing you beauty, especially in simplicity
sharing the most senseless
yet inspiring moments
within the gauntlets of life

Painting pictures with my mind
in lieu of conversation
so you may feel with me
the sensation of being entwined

Coaxing you along
knowing full well
one of these days
I'll hear it all

Giving my time
which use to be accounted for
but now I spend it freely
because I don't ache anymore
there is no better place to be

I pray every night
and each day
for happiness to enfold you
keeping anything dark, gloomy, and blue
far away
unable to approach you

I appreciate and say thank you
with almost each breath
I forgot the past
as each day went from
perplexed and restless
to beautifully vast.

The vitality of amorous
connective links
endless and renewed each day
obstructing narrow
tunnel vision views

Here intimacy of
breadth exists
and the necessity of two
indeed elated by you dearly
and the sublimity
in which you inspire through.

Those words toughed my heart strings.

Absolutely beautiful poem.

Professing love
I'm happy as a
woman with warm
sand under her feet.

I'm content
as drops of
sunshine casting
rainbows on
quiet inlets
for us to greet.

Our graceful truth
resembles a lost man
reunited with the faithful.

It's as if there is not enough time
like people in love
who can't get enough
going back for another kiss
when it's time for drawn out goodbyes
keeping it with them always
the lovely feeling left inside.

I think some move
lightly through each other
and some just gush through

I've always thanked God
for those-whom I love
on earth at the same time

Cognating under
the same sky

Breathing the
doublet droplets
of air

Lofting under
blanket cloud cover
up high

Residing under
matching hemispheres

Roused together and awake
during unexplained times of day

So much eminence
of loveliness
I sometimes feel fate.

Love,
it's as simple
or difficult as that.
Simplified,
a natural easiness
transposes to rise.
Overtly focused,
on the outer show
other's thoughts and eyes
diminish its growth.
Within such a perfect
self-contained word
complexities are not necessary.
It's beautiful on its own.

Applause for affection
I conclude all love is old
none is new-
like intersected lines
which cross and meet in time
rendering a subdued feeling
of utmost sensible delicacy
lingering in each day eternally.

This strange beautiful connection
is on its own
gathering momentum
leaving everything in its wake-
spinning

Your obvious presence
moving calmly through
leaving me at once
overwhelmed with thoughts
so full of you

The air darkened
and upon me came a dizzy spell
I whispered for help
strangers tried to soften my landing
but still, I lightly fell

What would cure my delirious swoon
especially on a day like this
when I feel unsure and out of tune

Something only you-
can exquisitely do
sing for me
intoxicate my room.

Charmed right out of my tree
climbed down to see
someone angelic
persistent with desire
who never left me
in search of something higher

Thank you
in every thought of gratitude
inspired greatly by your braveness
leaves nothing to guess or wonder

Each day my debt and heart grows
springing like a rainbow
caught in the midst
of sun and thunder

If distance was enclosed
surely I would
in complete possible madness
kiss you from your
temples to your toes

Slide down from heaven
and deliver to you-
with love
a blue rose.

Love in the raw

Being rather clumsy
I will say each day
I love you
more and more.

Don't ask
how much?
I don't have that answer
but it touches the sky.

What some may or may not see-
I find beautiful.

I sometimes plead
with the powers above and at be
for you not to change for anyone
or anything.

I am grateful
to have observed
and took part in
olden love

Among meanderings
stumbled upon
within each
engraved memory

It's not the extraordinaire
as one would think it to be

It's rather light
heady and quaint
as an afternoon dream

Reminds me of-
quails, doves, or
some other cooing birds

Who sing
in higher octaves
without symbolic words

Whether in corrosive troubles
or joyful repartees
this love clings eternal
on each spanning wing.

Well after midnight
the gentle touch of romance
strokes my mind

With an added pinch of spice
upholding a fine felling inside

Twirling in a cloud rotation of passion
and lost making love
into another language of verse

Lathering my soul
wrapped in the miracle
of heat it pulls

Warming each and every bone
within impeccably tuned
ardent strings
of a caritas poem.

These last few years
downright sexy!
as to what I like
you're good...
very, very good
(for me)

Is my two cents-
concerning life
meow,
laying on my back
with my paws up in the air
feeling oh so much John Clare!

*Notation: written in regards to the last line from this old poem..

First Love

I ne'er was struck before that hour
With love so sudden and so sweet,
Her face it bloomed like a sweet flower
And stole my heart away complete.
My face turned pale as deadly pale.
My legs refused to walk away,
And when she looked, what could I ail?
My life and all seemed turned to clay.

And then my blood rushed to my face
And took my eyesight quite away,
The trees and bushes round the place
Seemed midnight at noonday.
I could not see a single thing,
Words from my eyes did start --
They spoke as chords do from the string,
And blood burnt round my heart.

Are flowers the winter's choice?
Is love's bed always snow?
She seemed to hear my silent voice,
Not love's appeals to know.
I never saw so sweet a face
As that I stood before.
My heart has left its dwelling-place
And can return no more
~John Clare
