Listening to the rain
so tranquil, this place I was in-

I thought and thanked God
that I am very lucky
to afford these simple luxuries

Lying there restful and divine
with my pinned up hair
reading beautiful poetry
which makes me cry each time

Warming my insides
with a glass of fine wine
I drifted down
sensuously, as if in a dream
and almost felt sleep

I began to collectively pen something
no one will ever see
as these impressions I received
were too tender to keep.
