I wrote this to Beethoven's Sonate au Claire de Lune

Requiem for humanity and me

Luna in thy envious gaze,
Look at me in praise,
A token of dreams despaired,
Of gratitude impaired,
A mind that was once so great,
Now retires so late,
For the damned are the blessed,
To be ignorant of the jest,
That plays them round,
To the dreary sound,
Of their wishes drowned,
But they cannot see,
As they are deceived, humanity,
The Devil is cruel and cunning,
And I am the only one running,
From his acrobatic stunning,
Cares have I no more,
Of this world of bores,
And Lord leave me unbroken,
Leave my heart un-awoken,
To the trickery of man,
To the world you began,
