You know,
when I was a girl
I had an insatiable
curiosity of inner-workings
within the world.

Nature therefore provided
many a cure-
answering inquisitive puzzlements
an imploring of understanding
received almost as simply
as the air we breathe.

Just as a camouflaged tiny plant
sitting among stealthier greenery
thrives and succeeds.

Growing little by little
in their protective place
of allotted sunshine and shade.

Her young delicate sensitivities
quivered from the ground up
until in time rooted sturdier
she then began swaying gently
within their love culled nurturing.
