I have wondering eyes
Looking for new horizons
Bright and open skies

I have a sailing mind
Open to follow the wind
To search for what it can find

I have busy thoughts
Quick to jump around
Entertaining adventurous plots

I have anxious feet
Ready to trod the ground
To see what new faces I meet

I have fidgety hands
Rarely ever still
Busy and making new plans

I have a heavy heart
Pulled by my intuition
fearful of falling apart

I am always unknown
Scripting the cards that I'm handed
A master chameleon in show
Playing the parts that I've landed

A mask to conceal; I am fire
The world is my stage
And I am the liar
Building the bars of my cage

Ruled by the sun; I am fire
Naturally inclined to burn free
Allowing the flames to rise higher
So I can become true to me.

I love the energy in this poem and the self-discovery it explores. Wonderful!

High quality!! Your work reveals/reflects a multi-dimensionality. Multiple independent currents, whirling as One unit...

In one sense, this clearly reminds me of an "astrology chart" delineation..., WITH dynamics that describe the evolutionary Journey of the Soul. Positions in/of Consciousness. Walking the earth walk, Present on the path, Accepting. There's a Jung flavoring here?

Creating our Reality... Knowing ourself as we are Known. To learn/know the self's Self, and the Self-self's self.

Know Thy Self... Love thy self as Self is loved and Known.... Flames of Love. Higher Will. Meeting Self/self in the totality of All That Is.

Thankyou for sharing this.... I feel deeply humbled, and my soul yearns and resonates to 'something' here, inspired by your words. Reflections of Truth...... The Fool.

So sorry ... I feel a bit embarrassed and apologize if this was "too much".... I get this way! sheesh.... I smile, as Pearlty has known this very well, and tolerates me frequently!

Sometimes, I feel my Soul whelm up in me... The Muses use Your Words like little cups or containers, and those Words dip down deep into my Well---- in a 'good' way....

Thankyou for posting your work here... and to reveal your words for all to share.

Incredible....

There are many songs to match the movement of your poetry.... I will choose the element of Air and Bright open skies of 'clarity'

(music) I can see clearly now (w lyrics) [2:44] http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r1MjRp0ys5I

Thank you both very much. I feel as if I'm in a transition of sorts but I don't know astrology well enough to read my charts...I've been trying to find someone to take a look so I can try and get a hold on what's going on with me. I've always wondered who I really am...

omg... are you kidding?? I would think that astrology would come as natural as 'breathing' to YOU! You "sound" like an astrologer already!! Whatever you have studied, your philosophy or whatever, has served/prepared you well!

EDIT 9/28.... I don't like feeling as though I'm being "played" Proud Leo... I've seen some posts you've done around LL. You already DO know a lot about astrology....

Be sure to read up and be ready for transiting Saturn over your Ascendant crossing into your First House.

EDIT 9/28....

I'm sorry if I made you feel like that. I have been studying astrology about the past few months and I have learned quite a bit but its the transitioning thing I am trying to get a grasp on...I think I know the basics of my placements...sort of...like I have a good foundational knowledge but I don't have the in depth knowledge of when our placements transcend...if that's how you say it. And I also don't fully understand the trines, squares etc that could cause obstacles for me? I would like to understand that so I can get a better grasp on what might be taking place with me lately and how to handle it. Thanks for the advice....I will be researching on what you suggested. I am always open for learning. Thank you.

EDIT 9/28....

THIS makes total sense!! http://rubyslipper.ca/2012/07/what-happens-when-saturn-transits-over-your-scorpio-ascendent/

That's how I feel...and some other articles go more in depth and it is RIGHT ON THE MONEY! Thank you SO much for helping me with this.

I can't seem to figure out what it means that venus is in my ascendant....it's the only one. So how is that effecting me? Venus is love and emotions right...so is saturn causing me to have changed emotions abut my husband? I've been reading this stuff to him all day and I'm thinking maybe we need to GO to see someone who can compare our charts and explain these kinds of things....for instance, saturns transit in scorp will affect him differently than I, right? because my asc is scorp. I defiantly feel a lot better being able to know and explain what is happening to me....and THAT has already made a huge difference for me and for my husband! Thank you so much for taking the time to let me know.

Also I don't understand this...my venus is in cancer and in my ascendant, scorpio? But my ascendant (first house) is ruled by Aries and mars....that's confusing as it is BUT...my venus is trine my asc...does that mean anything? Also, my saturn is in virgo (my husbands sun sign)...does that mean anything?

You know what...I've confused myself even more because I just looked at my chart wrong maybe. Ha! Ok...for real this time...scorp asc, Uranus and moon in ascendant. Uranus scorpio, moon Sagittarius. saturn being in virgo and my husband being virgo sun sign is true. And my venus being trine my asc is true. Also, moon is trine midhaven in sun sign leo, uranus is square sun, and uranus square mercury, Does any of this mean anything? Now...this is seriously confusing!.

Your full name is on your chart!!! You might want to cut that part out for privacy reasons.

I really like your poems too, you express yourself beautifully.

I commented on one of your threads a few days ago. Sorry I didn't have anything to add about specific transits since I'm new to astrology and I'm still learning about my own natal chart. I just wanted to say that I was born just two and a half months after you, and I'm coming out of a 14 year relationship. I think one factor is that when you enter a relationship at a young age, you really don't know what you want. My ex and I are the same age...he's a Cancer ;-) so we didn't have the added challenge of such a large age gap. You and your husband are always going to be at very different stages in life, so that's bound to cause some difficulties on it's own. Also, women tend to "find themselves" in their 30's, and finally start getting a clear picture of what it is that they want out of life. As women, there is usually a lot of pressure to worry about getting married and having children young, thus giving your energy to others. So once we get a little life experience and maturity, there is a tendency to want to shift the focus to ourselves.

My sun is at 13 degrees Scorpio, so I'm experiencing Saturn transiting my natal sun now, and it definitely hasn't been easy. Saturn tests you, so whatever structures have been built on a shaky foundation probably won't survive. That goes for relationships, career direction, beliefs, etc. If it's not working for you, you're going to have to face it. Either do the work required to fix it, or it's going to crumble to the ground. It's not an easy transition, but if you do the necessary work, then whatever you are left with will be more stable and true to who you are as a person.

Funny, I'm from Texas too.

thank you so much. Now that this has come to light, I look back at my poems over the past year and even my posts here on LL and I can see that all of this falls right in line with the saturn transit my asc. I'm so glad someone finally pointed it out. I'm also glad that instead of judging me, someone was willing to take a closer look and offer some help. I really appreciate that because I strive to do that for other people as well. I'm actually pretty bewildered at the fact that astrology seems to be so accurate. I've been an active Christian for most of my adult life and even my beliefs over this past year have began to experience some very serious doubts and I can't tell you how "out of character" that is for me. It really is like I've been playing a role over the past ten years and I find my contentment in it astounding. I wrote poetry when I was younger, and I wasnt able to do a word of expressive writing for over ten years....I just started writing again the last few months. I was learning the guitar when I first got married, I quit and now I'm picking it back up again. I was incredibly social and being the domestic wife I found myself with NO friends....seriously, my mom was it...and I was involved with NO activities but I did get my BA while staying home with the kids...I did it all online while homeschooling the kids. It's almost like it was a time to focus on my home, family, and learning. now, i am incredibly social and i actually thrive on being a social butterfly....people are drawn to me and i love learning from others and relating.

the change was so sudden when just a little over a year ago...I had just graduated and we had just built a new home and moved...then, it's like a page of a book turned and I was in an entirely different chapter but I missed something because it is totally different from the previous chapters and I'm left trying to put all the pieces together of how it fits. Now, I will be honest and tell you...I like who I am becoming...I like that I am getting out from under being controlled by the status quo, or what i think other people
Expect from me. I like that I am exuberant, expressive, outgoing, intuitive, and confident. I was always viewed as unique when I was younger but when I married I forced myself to be a stereotype...and I think I lost myself...my true self. Now I feel like I am becoming more me and I realize how much I have missed. I think the cancer guy was one of saturns lessons (now that I know about the transit thing). You see, I've learned to master my emotions...I'm pretty logical in the sense that I don't really let my emotions guide me and I am certainly not emotionally vulnerable...because I learned that it can hurt and the tough survive...but saturn wants me to face all those things I fear or am not true to (I think that's the just of it anyway) and my venus is in cancer...I'm actually supposed to be emotionally soft in a way, right? Well, the emotions I had with cancer guy knocked me on the ground because I have never in my life felt emotions like that...so either a) saturn is teaching me that emotions can be more than just negative or maybe b) my current relationship is emotionally dead in comparison to the potential that's out there....now, I already knew these things I'm sure, but too afraid to face them. Such an interesting time of reformation for me and I'm very happy I found this community where I can truly share myself and have understanding and a little guidance. Thanks for that. (Btw...I ramble...I'm a talker for sure!).
