"I can catch crisp words up in the air, and easily know where to use them. I’d jot them down, creating sound wonderful forms of what I perceive and love. All words, and their every way of saying and writing them, must not go unnoticed or unused, whether beautifully or hideously. This habit of needing to be free with words, is a duty I must live by, for my mother and myself. I write and verse and speak, on behalf of my mother’s muffled voice and lost words."
