I imagined a picnic at night
a dark purple blanket spread out
softening the groundIn the sky far to the right
a crescent moon sits high Beautiful, as if placed there
by a watchful artist's eye Inside a basket near our feet
a red wine you thought to bring
with strawberries and grapes
to feed and play Natures music playing low
softly, playing low An owl sits high in a towering pine
calling out his night sounds to us
looking on and wondering below? I shiver a little because I know
it's heavenly to have you so close
surrounding unending horizons
which never ascend and forego. ------------------

I wish you True Love~~ The kind of man more than just imaginations... One that will give you more than just baskets, and promises, picnics, fruit or wine.... Someone to love you more than life itself. Of course, it's the pain that can draw out the kind of beauty evident in the poetry you write! argh... the bitter with the sweets! Awe..Thanks! I have to admit though sometimes it's easier to write about love then being in it. I do appreciate the male folk in my life- if it wasn't for tantalizing experiences, I wouldn't have as much to ponder on from the heart as I do.
