Long time since I've posted a little poem, so thought I'd throw one in Magician Of My Yesterday I have witnessed thine every colour hues that blend and merge visible only to a lover's eye beloved rainbow of splendour, enticing daydreams, of what might have beens. Thine elusive treasure, sparkling, bewitching, teasing rivulets of unfulfilled desires cascading hauntingly, murmuring thy sweet serenade, echoing beseechingly through darkened caverns of my fragile mind. Senses awakening, tingling, swirling cherry blossoms whispering thy divinity on balmy sun blessed breeze. my magician of colours spellbound, childlike joy, cocooned in thy lustrous array, thy sweet rainbow's end was not my fate nature consoles my yearning as only nature can, skyward souvenir of thy love arched majestically o'er clear blue heavens resplendant, glorious, captivating home to the fairies lullaby Oh magician of my yesterdays reminding me of what might have been soothe this aching heart. by Barb

Very sweet poem, reminded me of poets like Keats. Written wholly from the heart and with so much innocence. Much congratulations as this poem may stay with you for long serving as a watermark of the depth of unrequited love.IP: Logged |

Perhaps you'll feel like re-posting "Black Pearl" sometime? I hope. Coinciding with your other work conveyed here, I imagine it's exquisite- as well. IP: Logged |
