Where does everyone who writes creatively, be it Poetry, Stories, or Songs, get their inspiration from?

That's a great question.

For me I enjoy nature writing the most-whether poetically or creatively.
Therefore; Mother Nature, long walks in the woods-sitting down on a fallen tree and just listening, and the mutability of the seasons here provide oodles of inspiration as well.

How about you?

Beautiful pics. Ellyn..

The eyes visually anticipating
sound piercing through soft darts
senses heightened
subsuming all together within
emotions we ware.

In answer to your question I don't know? But I would gather it's the nuances intune with the moment of striking awareness, while seeking proof, finding one is not alone, and sensing the "inspirative" sounds/feelings of cojoining universal hums.

Ah, I'm sorry Elynvx, forgive me for focusing on the words. It was the simplicity and poignancy in expression that resonated with me.

I think all contributions made in this forum are wonderful and I feel it is perhaps the safest, friendliest, most positive sub forum, of course I am bias. Although I do not often frequent places such as gaia's garden and such, a lot of the other sub forums have threads which occasionally devolve into bickering or arguing, rather than discussing.

I also think you're a wonderful astrologer, I've seen some of the charts you have done for others floating around in various other threads.

You don't feel safe elsewhere?

Gaia's doesn't seem like that rough of a neighbourhood...

But Thank You.

The Forum name comes from a very stirring line in Gooberz.

The letter wasn't a Poem?

I know; Randall, you told me to pay close attention to it, and I did.

(Heartstoppingly So.)

Ellyn, yes in it's entirety the book does read like an ongoing poem. As for my little prosaic above, I was thinking back to the beginning of the book and the initial mentioning of Yellow Wax.

Safety has never been a concern for me. It's not something that I have ever thought, I'm safe to post here!

I meant it more in the sense of, people are less likely to launch personal attacks or slanderous attacks in this sub forum. Others are littered with people arguing and accusing each other of this and that, and I really can't be bothered to deal with other people's rubbish, plus from the opinions I have formed of members I have no desire to get involved with a great deal of the more regular posters for a myriad of reasons.

As I mentioned, I don't often frequent forums like Gaia's however I know a few members who do who do not get on with each other, so I wouldn't put it past them to bicker occasionally.

This forum is just the most peaceful.

I assume you meant the Posthumous letter?

Yeah, that was the last line I read on the first night.

I think I cried myself to sleep...

Had the oddest dream, too.

I remember Grecian Pillars, and I was with an older guy, very Profound.

It was like we were above the dogs on the Columns...

Maybe referring to the emotions in Swift Freeze's Post, I don't know.

"Gooberz" is amazing.

All those people out there wondering about someone who touched their lives in an evocative manner; (speaking of Inspiration, eh?) and Linda saw fit to share hers in such depth...

Not to mention that it was the fans who wrote to her that made it happen, with as close to a one-on-one as a celebrity could come to all those people.

The ones who helped should be Rightfully Proud of their hand in this accomplishment. It is a Magickally Synergistic Birthright.

Really love the binding!

Paper on Board is definitely the way to go. I really love Manly P. Hall, as well.

Charmaine, I wonder what yours is like?

Ellyn, that is precisely the part I was referring to- Beautiful.

I recently obtained a copy, and this time around it's been so nice not feeling like the hour glass is turned over and I have to hurry with reading- as I previously had to with borrowed copies. It's also one of those books I feel upon ending not to just stuff back on my shelf, I think I'll pass it along to my daughter- and let her enjoy if she so wishes.

SwiftFreeze, I agree it is peaceful here. Which belongs to the past, present, and future- artists, writers, poets, musicians, creative thinkers; who graciously paved it that way, and of course Randall's visions too.

Nice not to be rushed.

I was just holding it to my breast last night and hugging it.

Swift Freeze!! so good to see you here~~ You're so 'genuine'.... (hugs)

Pearlty.... Love what you said-- "SwiftFreeze, I agree it is peaceful here. Which belongs to the past, present, and future- artists, writers, poets, musicians, creative thinkers; who graciously paved it that way, and of course Randall's visions too."

My answer is close to Charmaine's--
"Emotions, observations, dreams..."

Ellyn... your little arrangement of icons around the little 'reader' looks so sweet. awwww. so artistic!
