It's how I've been feeling lately.
I borrowed the Clockworker's Lullaby from a series of songs called the Evillious Chronicles
which I just adore.
Anyways, here it is.
-------------------------------------------- The Doll of Belphegor and a Spring-Worked Song
Once again she came to me
On to the bed that I sleep
You speak of the darkness this world holds
Yet I know you want me gone
In the dead of the night,
Through the open window,
Sweet Selene smiles at me
And brings to me a man of dreams
Come with me
Is what he says
In his voice like honey
Every night we meet
I cannot leave,
I must remind him
Instead of speaking, he carried me
Our love carrying us far
As Eos announced Helios near,
We tearfully parted again
I want to sing of my lovely one,
As I rest on rosy sheets
Hearing me,
A lime colored collector with his companion diner
A turquoise servant girl
And a faded purple twin swordsman
Don’t be ridiculous
They say
That could never occur
The capricious lady tells to me
It was only a dream
They say
I ignore them with my lover’s song
The Clockworker’s Lullaby we know so well
Lu Li La La La La La
Lu Li La La La La La La
Lu Li La
La La La La La La La
Once again at the Witches’ Hour,
Sweet Selene smiles at me
But instead he does not show
I wait instead upon blushing sheets
From the rose embroidered box beside me
I had a thorny jewel for him
Where have you gone?
I can’t help but wonder
The next day I am unnoticed
I lay on the pink bed tearfully
Unable to move, I cannot seek
Unable to move, I only weep
Until I sleep soundly,
My despair acts upon me
The Melancholy harbored within;
It only makes it harder to keep my faith
I wake up soundly
Something doesn't feel right
Why has the house gone silent?
I scoop up the orb of garnet next to me
On the couch an empty mirror
In the study a cold steel spoon
At the table a brilliant green glass
And across are two crossing blades
Once again he came to me
On the bed that I sleep
He held me close while sobbing
And gently I tearfully cuddled him
I comfort him with his favorite song
The Clockworker’s Lullaby we know so well
In the scorched manor
It’s the only sound heard
Lu Li La
Lu Li La
Lu Li La
Lu Li La
Lu Li La
Lu Li La
Lu Li La
Lu Li La…
