Rousing the naked inner child full of mystified forehead kisses free and stoically wildIn mind's eye flight lady bugs descend spin and land granting home-spun wishes before fluttering en route again Beneath one tiny wing love is carefully tucked under and carried away destined for a vibrant resting place so again the eyes may glint and smile and the heart can soar forever while. ------------------ "Well, I like to eat, sleep, drink, and be in love. Thank you Cancer/Scorpio729 and Mirage I was out joy riding on a golf cart with a friend- she's a wee bit older than I. Anyway a Lady Bug landed on my shirt and she said "Oh my aren't you lucky- Make a wish!" I hadn't heard that wives tale before..but I went ahead and made a wish. Later that night I was thinking about it and thus came this poem. It's often something very simple like that where poems derive and transpire from for me. It's where day and thought concentrare.
