I used watercolors and pastels. Mathematical accuracy was unimportant compared to the feel of the chart. I did not use any mathematical tools, rather I drew freehand. I am pleased with the result. Tell me what you think. IP: Logged |

WOW, Astrologic! What a great job you did! That was tedious work from which you'll reap many rewards. Great way to use your Venus Gemini 5th... She used her "hands"!! Oh I LOVE IT!! Excellent work, and brilliant self-expression~~ the idea, as well as the attractive colors and great scribing of those symbols. The scroll work decorating the edges frames honorably. Your natal chart is fascinating, and powerful... Full Moon in Capricorn occurs this weekend IN the degree of your ASC/DSC. Then it's your birthday just a week later! I've worked on my own chart in similar artistic manner... Not only on poster-board material, but also using lampshade frames, clear lightbulbs, crystals, and other things I could find that were symbolic. The four walls, ceiling, and floor of my room "became" my astrology laboratory and chart. (Didn't think to take a picture ~ had to dismantle all my astrocrafts a few years ago now...)
There are many artistic ways to express the chart..... This is a fantastic way to get the "feel" for astrology. I LOVE it all! Thank you so much for sharing your creativity! IP: Logged |

Astrologic ... I didn't take photos otherwise I would have definitely shared it on your thread! ... I like what you did very much! VERY good project to do, to get the "feel" of one's chart!Oh gosh, I had collected all sizes of color bottle and jar caps, drew planet glyphs and zodiacs. Actually... to someone just visiting they probably would have wondered 'why' all the weird-stuff with disposable 'garbage'? Hey, it's Recycled! It's all LEARNING! It's "seeing" the astrology every-where and IN every 'thing'! All becomes a part of Possibility when you're seeing it... I really hope others join in!? IP: Logged |
