The sun begins to lose sky dew-drops weep and crystallize mama bear though-likes her brief moments of clarity, tranquility, serenity... a scrubbed face, old clothes on, and feeling comfy- within the dull-noiseless evening throng.IP: Logged |

Thanks Ayelet Ellyn, did you make that "bear pause" blanket? Rajji Thank you, I'm feeling pretty content these days- it often repeats and shows through the poems. IP: Logged |

I have one in the works like that, yes.My Daughter is Beary. When she was little, I made an Attic Window quilt with little Bear Paws. It was flannel, with bear print designs. (She has it folded up near her bed, even now. ) Funny, huh? IP: Logged |

I put that one away, because I didn't like the Prints.Sometimes the Solids made a more striking statement, and I used the Natural Prints, Grass, Rocks, Wheat. I still have the blocks, but I wasn't pleased with the results. Thanks for asking. I'm glad you're Happy at Home. That's a Very Good Place to Be. IP: Logged |

Ellyn, I'm sure the quilt you have in the works will turn out lovely when finished -hope to see some pics. I myself can barely sew a button on- so I appreciate the skill and patience that goes into working with fabrics of any kind. IP: Logged |

I like that rhyme, thanks Ellyn Rajji, I meant to add above - you seem to enjoy writing, do you have some poems, prose, or any other kind of creative writing -you would possibly like to share with us here at Yellow Wax? IP: Logged |
