I've been absent for far too long,
yet I was never really gone.

It only takes one moment,
to create a memory that lasts a life time.

I would like to spend a life time,
creating moments with you.

Thank you Mirage.

I've lacked the drive to be creative, for almost a year now. Although it has felt like longer.

I don't spend enough time, learning and playing, piano or guitar, or writing lyrics anymore. I rarely composed music, I never applied myself to that.

Thanks again for the birthday wishes. I hope that everything is well with you, and that you are in good health and spirits.

Swift Freeze {{ }} ... You? think you're Not creative?? Wha???? *jawdrop* That's impossible! Go back and re-read your poem! You can't NOT be creative~~ You were Born with it!

There are seasons in our life when we are Living through those "experiences" that will lead to the formation of the 'next' piece of poetry we want to write, and that 'next' great system of lyrics to compose. The endings, beginnings, and the important in-between rest-periods simply re-NEW us. Don't judge on how you feel 'right now'... By elevating your perspective, SEE that you are on a Lifetime of Adventures. It will all be successful when you pop your head up for a grander view.... Look all around. You'll see the end from the beginning, and the beginnings from the end. You've got a really long opportunity that awaits you, O PoetHeart!

There's a saying that "The Heart RESTS Between each Beat." For the artist who feels sooo compelled to 'keep going, keep going,' its so important to have this kind of an understanding. It is "integrated" INTO the Creative Process.... Just 'squeeze OUT'? That's not Flow. The Heart takes IN, the Heart pumps OUT. BOTH of those constitute ONE Beat. There's a "rest" built into it.

The flows of Creative life takes those same Rhythms. One turn takes the Beauty inward, pauses, turns, and Pours Out.

The Beauty, the Pain.
The Soaring Sores of the Soul...
Cease-Peace, Seize-Piece,
Sourcing Seasons become Sublime Soaring.

Taking care of your self, and being alone by yourself, is AS equally important as all the care you give for your Beloveds. It all Comes Back to you... No self-punishment. Only 'observe' and let this be a clue as to how you assess your priority. No harshness. Follow your clues knowing you can always change your mind if it didn't resonate like you thought it would. Be KIND to Your self. (RX: Two Self-Hugs per Day -- prn all day Cherish self )

Hope your Birthday Year is Just the Beginning of the Sublimely Beautiful for YOU...

...thank you Ayelet.

I spoke those words knowing that this is not just for one, but to many who read and listen and support each other here. I, (my self especially), sometimes need that same boost.

Yes. Hope. Hope can float us, and rest us when there's just nothing else we feel we can do...

Thank you.

I feel I should carry a pad, pen, and perhaps something to record audio when I have ideas. I have had a few over the last couple of weeks that were forgotten. I promised myself I would remember them, but when I woke, they were no where to be found.

Some people own add-on devices with voice dictation software. They speak, and it types every word they say. (dragon software)

But I'm thinking of a Future, where I wish I had a device that could hook up to my thoughts and instantly type out the ideas I want to share~~ at once!

And lose the process of writing, cursive and calligraphy?

I think I would rather let my hands do the talking, it's all part of the creative process. I involve my mind, my heart, my soul, and my body when the words flow on to the page.

I feel like just speaking, negates the the consideration you would have when writing. When speaking you can get it "wrong" so many times, when you are writing, you are less likely to write something down in a hurry.

I have similar feelings on writing Swift Freeze, I've tried to use technology to my advantage.. It doesn't work out. For many years now the old journal comes with me everywhere.. The senses seem more alive when going from the heart & mind, to handwriting and articulating the thoughts. For me it's a beautiful tradition of antiquity.
