What I lost I cannot retrace
Never will I win this case
This selfish struggle for selfish ends
Yet another voice calls me to march on
Death is not the end,
I shall merely be interrupted
On my quest for selfless love
I am here for as long as I'm needed,
I will not linger nor be a heroine,
No, I'll come back home
Down the hill I go
Into the sunset
How I hate sunsets
So sad to leave a poem
With an end.
But if a person doesn't have the breath
To wait till dawn, then poor
Is he who leaves in darkness.

'Then poor is who leaves in the darkess'

These are so apt..

It is true, Mirage. I have recently learned that Karma is the distance between where we are now and our destination. I hope that when one slides into the sunset, one is also sliding into the dawn of another day, an eternal one. That is the only way which can make me love sunsets.
