An AngelSave me from myself, for I am not immune, Mistakes may take my wings when I am most needed, But who mistook me for an angel? I once was. The mistake is far from the truth like life itself is far from me. Let me live, then, and in cold and harsh reality learn that I can paint, Know that I can change, Experience love. In me I need to find a magic wand. But how shall I trust the hand holding that wand? Save me from myself, for I am not immune, Release me from the pain of falsity, A pain I crave in my ignorance. I surrender to you, who are greater than I can ever be. How fragile a magician I am! Still I long to be Strong like might well-directed, never ill-affected, May I be as strong as your belief in the angel I once was.

I liked the rythym, rising, and falling of questioning testaments found here. Between your love poems and poems such as this, you truly have brilliant emotive versatility. IP: Logged |

Not an angel?... Of course not. You're "human." Humans can fly occasionally by the wings of imagination, soaring full of hopes and a prayer. But angels can never connect as you do, in human form. Look at that wand in your hand, and see the hand connected to your arm, which is drawing its fire from the power of the Heart. (music) Flaws (Bastille) lyrics [3:37] http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WDoU-gE2AXA "Feeling false"? can also be a false-feeling. You are Divinely made, living in a body. Dance, and know that you're wonderfully human! (music) You're Only Human (Billy Joel) [4:48] http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3AG_ororx8E IP: Logged |

Thanks Mirage for your words and the songs. I believe we are all angels who fell. I know angels can't communicate the same way we can. But i don't look fondly upon my human frailties. I'd rather like to correct them. What can i do... a perfectionist...IP: Logged |

Ayelet Radiate warmth of Love from your more perfected side towards the perceived dark. Encompass your own human frailties with the radiant light and warmth of Love, and the boundary line will melt. Love trumps human failings.... I know. Be Steadfast. Hmmmm? Maybe you'll recover your Angel Wings, once again, Ayelet. Take good care. IP: Logged |

Ayelet... Here's a video that you might find interesting. The woman is into Buddhism spirituality (her language, and décor in room). Describes a terrible time in her life (2 deaths, sudden divorce) and how she dealt with her spirituality at that time.I only recently discovered Lilou Mace's video channel. The last two interviews were amazing for me to hear. Both persons are using the same 'language' I do (wow!). I've never read their books, nor studied the types of spirituality they've been involved with. I'm amazed to find others saying the same things ~ I feel this transformation effect (PlutoSquareUranus?!) The holiness of us, of being human beings... (topic) Sonia Choquette's recent journey, from death and divorce, to true authentic spiritual awakening (Lilou Mace, publ Dec 28, 2014) [38:20] http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=svnucsVYYu0 (esp.around marker 19:00, but worth hearing the whole story) IP: Logged |

Thanks for the video, Mirage. I think that the most important thing I am taking from it is that all is good. I still think we need to control our character, but expressing ourselves is important, and one can control nothing one supresses. Also, if one feels s/he is "perfect", than a. One is wrong, and b. One may not be compassionate toward others. So feeling "perfect" is often inflation of the ego or else some rigidness is being manifested, or both!IP: Logged |
