My creativity is slowly coming back, but no songs are coming now.

I'm trying to create this kind of stories, I'm very far from what I want to write, but all those years of writing are really now showing I guess.

Another silver moon it’s hitting on me
There’re memories to be released
I can’t tell if it’s good or bad to me
I haven’t know it for a while
It’s the ongoing road to nowhere
It’s my endless flight alone

There’s a jazz band playing near the avenue
There like us, trying to pay their dues
All it took was a calling card
To make a move to play their tunes
It took a time in the road to nowhere
And an endless flight alone

I jam with then at 12 pm
I played a song called blues in green
An old woman comes to feel the swing
She looks at me, then throws a coin
So far so good in the road of nowhere
It’s my endless flight alone

Well I followed her going to a metal bar
She’ll take the pictures to the upcoming show
I haven’t felt so worried about someone
Whose lovely presence I barely know
Maybe I’ll lead to the road to nowhere
Once again the endless flight alone

I talk to her to break the ice between us
She looks at me thinking I’m a friend of hers
“I ain’t quite known to you my friend”
But I’ll do it good with coke and wine
Guess it’ll lead to the road to nowhere
Another endless flight alone

The crowd is covered with the smell of grass
Feeling swayed by the sound of the fuzz
I can’t tell if I’m in or out
Nor she can’t tell what this is all about
It’s another stop at the road to nowhere
To another endless flight alone

Well the flames comes around while a band is playing
I see her smiling while the place was burning
And everyone around just keep on going
I ran away from the world going wrong
I’m going back to the road of nowhere
To do an endless flight alone

I woke up in my office, counting the Tuesday stock
It was another dream when I don’t want to work
She’s everything I ever dreamt of
It’s a crying shame it just went off
One more parade in the road of nowhere
It was another endless flight alone

I walk along the river with a friend of mine
She said “boy you’ve got a lot to learn”
“Love isn’t always pure to some blinded folks”
I know it more now these days
Since going to this road of nowhere
With my endless flight alone

Cheers.

Poetry can stand by itself. The words have sounds and make the music on their own! No strings attached.

You really may enjoy some Leonard Cohen. He was a poet-musician. Pearlty has her 'Poetry Thoughts' thread. I dropped some urls there in recent few months regarding Mr. Cohen's work.

I had listened to a number of 'interview' youtubes, listening to Mr. Cohen's thoughts. His speech is so poetic when his inspiration flows. His 'talking' is like 'poetry.' I had copied down some phrases and words he'd used, and formatted them-- which arranging I'm not totally happy about (but then too, I'm hard to satisfy when I judge my own work). Read the words to get his flow of 'information'

I do know some of his work, he's one of the greatest, his lyrics and poems are quite powerful, and his first couple of records are pretty great, I've downloaded some of his books of poems to learn a bit from him. And there're a lot of hidden gems so far.

Cheers

An old time cozy atmosphere to this endless flight alone. Nostalgic.
