My most recent portrait, drawn in June of 2010 with a crappy #2 pencil.

This is par excellence. Extremely beautifully drawn.

Thank you. I hope I can do a new one soon. It's the age-old dilemma of the artist -- I have to survive, and the work that makes that possible leaves me with little time and energy in which inspiration can arise. You should see my "unfinished projects" folder...

I experience this same issue in life. It can be hard not to get depressed about it as well, but then being depressed about not having enough time or energy, wastes the precious little I do have for myself.

The drawing is beautiful, amazing work! I am terrible at drawing and wish I could but I don't even enjoy attempting because I am so terrible and admire those with the ability to do it greatly!

deepseablues: Everyone has talents. Not everyone's is graphic art! For example, I have not a drop of musical talent, so I have to stand in awe of those who do.

Wow, that's really good. With your talent you should easily make a living at it.
