Tell Me,

Making me feel bad, Does it make you feel good?,
Going around in circles, Walking where instead I should,
Deceiving me to the core, And distantly smiling,
Where you hold your fist, With your anger boiling,
Why are you so far away, When I am standing so close,
I gave you love, Why this hatred you chose,
Punching the wall, Till your hands bleed out,
Holding me in your anger, Till I speak my whereabout,
I wish you gave me, What i gave you,
My heart, soul and my lonely truth,
I'll see you walk by, Till you return tonight,
You can't live as I cant, Burning in this fight…

This one sounds like a love rap poem. You assert yourself confronting your love. And even though there is a bitter tone to this poem, it cannot end quite yet, or it is more or less eternal, since he keeps coming back.

Lol. Now that I read it appears to be a rap. Good one Ayelet and thanks for reading. Maybe there is a little Eminem in me lol.

I read it, and you know how I tend to spiritualize each poem. I love your work.

For me tonight, at first it evoked a sense of rejection and cruelty. There's the ever-living sadness and suffering that comes from feeling stuck-and-alive, in a world with little or no sense of pleasure from living. Only the constant pressing, pressing. Persisting.

And yet, there's also a whiff of something deliciously provocative. It comes to ME... and Is NOT dangerous, but the wrestling of a fulfillment of desire.

[And humorously, for everybody's sake, we call out 'crop-failure' to words spoken that want to manifest OUT of sync. I call CANCEL-CANCEL-CANCEL to any kind of negative energies surrounding anybody's situation right now. Only Safety, Peace, and Pleasant moments and dreams come to you now.]

So anyways.... And OF COURSE, things come to me in songs.

This may be way-far from your usual (and my usual) musical selection. But this is the one I have as a sense tonight.

It can be applied 'spiritually' OR 'romantically'.... But I DO always feel that there is romance in the center of one who hears, seeks, and follows Spirit.

Like Kriyananda's Flute-poem describes. (My other posts.) Your Call, I can't resist!

(music) Lead Me On (Conway Twitty, Loretta Lynn) [2:30] *(see note below)

Thank you for reading mirage and your valuable input. There seems something strong and provocative about the way you analysed my poetry. I liked especially your short prayer for everyone. Never-mind you taking down the song, anything negative isn't welcome right

Touchingly melancholy, yet such a keen sense of honesty in feeling.
