Lately I've been contemplating the idea of finding another way to connect to your sun sign's mission.. I'm thinking it's through the planet that rules your ascendant: when you explore the things related to it (and possibly the house in which it's placed), it then shows you a path to your ultimate self-discovery and self-expression (the sun sign).

I mean, I believe that there's so much more to the ascendant sign than just being an immediate response or outlook to the world, or your physical appearance...

In my case, for the last couple months, I've been really interested in filmmaking (i just started having this hunch, I don't know), at first I thought that it was because of the aesthetic value of it, but then I felt that it was the creative process behind it that sparked my interest and made me think of venturing in that area. Then I saw a relation between how it gradually interested me and the fact that I have Libra ascending (Venus -> aesthetic appreciation) and a Leo sun (essence -> creative processes -in this case, of filmmaking).

I express my Moon(Cancer) when nurturing others and it is usually how I expect others to interact with me(in return).

The Asc to me has always been most tricky to ascertain(and still is). As I don't believe its meant to be "felt".

So I get really puzzled when people say "I don't "feel" like my rising sign ?
