This is a song I wanted to write for several weeks, even with the things that happened to me in these times, there was that title I wanted to write... "Lady of the Crescent Moon" a song that I wanted to put everything on the line, a song that said my feelings the way I wanted to, for the cancer woman.Based on Sad-Eyed Lady of the Lowlands With your political scars, and your revolutionary marks
And your humanitarian feelings that send a grand spark
Across the poor nation where the politicians bark
I could not help, but to chase you
With the poetries you write and the stories you tell
And your Latin jazz movements that you will never sell
To the countless that pretend to make you feel well
I’m in awe how I fell under your spell
In my nights of loneliness
I long for your sweet caress
Oh precious heart of gold, with the glow of the skies above
Like the little prince novel, like the rose that blooms
I’ll take care of you with the power of love
Forever yours, Lady of the crescent moon
Through your ancestors that wrote, in a language that’s misused
And your wounds that haven’t healed, through years of abuse
And the lonesome years you had, to try to pay your dues
Who would try to chase you?
With your eyes that longs for the moonlight dreams
Of peaceful weekends, and movielike scenes
With your swing like songs, and your soulful rhymes
I wish, to be up there with you
I could never have guessed
That with you I’d feel so blessed

But his words make you doubt, you can’t just believe
As thieves and tramps, they have make you feel deceived

I’d pay any kind of price

THAT is Awesome!!!  and so Beautiful....  *Big Sister on the Scene* ....
But personally, I've heard your stories about this woman, and maybe you should consider that you are 'projecting' all your love and statements of good ONTO her when they are maybe just 'clarifying' who YOU are? I HATE and ABHOR seeing innocent-hearted people getting rooked into situations repeatedly, and despicably get 'used'/abused over and over again.... She (her behaviors and manipulations, in my opinion) has NOT been Good. Look at her boyfriend STILL hanging around you, cozying himself up to you, even to the point of interjecting himself in your band? (Not everyone is as innocent and accepting as you??) That Band is YOURS, LF_DX. Draw some boundary lines around your interest! I don't know if you ever heard the story of song Suzanne by Leonard Cohen? He got "ripped off" by closest friends at the time. They "stole" his idea and property, and made millions.... He says it was wrong for him to write the song and get rich from it?... NO, I think it was PROFOUND Hurt inside of him.... Oh Pearlty......  .... I just hope that *I* am not the one 'projecting'. If this is the case, I am HEARTLY grievously sorry. (As you know, things amped here last weekend, and my electricbody is feeling awful from the latest sonic-assault. Takes a while to get over one of those... And I hope you're feeling better from your colds overthere, too.) Don't be so hard on yourself, Yeah, it's kinda hard this situation, but it isn't that bad more than I'm projecting it to be, it is kinda bad though feeling that you've met your soulmate, cause she's, but my fears and insecurities did quite a fuckup with it and I've paid the consequences of it, so I have to pick up myself and continue the road. We're still friends, and we still want to play with each other, that's enough for me, the rest will come at its proper time.But I can't deny my feelings for her, so these poems and songs make it for me at the moment, so it's something IP: Logged |
