Oh Alice, sometimes I doubt
If I’m still unsure, what this is about
The news won’t say it, they’ll cover the signs
Yet the streets are crowded, there’s nothing to hide

Yes I see all the people, marching on the street
It’s the fight of the decade, with this tiring heat
They’ve been let down again, striped of their rights
They can’t have some peace, they’re deprived of the light

And I can’t stay in my world, knowing this is wrong
I will lend a helping hand, this has been for so long
Show me the way Alice, tell me where to start
Guide me with your nobility, with your revolutionary heart

Well I used to complain, of what them warriors claimed
I was uninformed, thought it was in vain
Now I’ve seen it all, their ********* strife
How unjust is this world, for these golden lives

We’ve been so blinded, the truth was in front of us
Yet they say they’re lazy, and that they have a choice
What choice there is? If there’s no land to plow
No jobs to have, and nowhere to go

And I can’t stay in my world, knowing this is wrong
I will lend a helping hand, this has been for so long
Show me the way Alice, tell me where to start
Guide me with your nobility, with your revolutionary heart

We are all equals, in this fight
There’s no classes here, or no reason to hate
Let’s not create divisions, let’s forge an identity
Of kindness and friendship, for humanity

We’re all chained Alice, we’re slaves of an imposed fate
And we must change our destiny, there's no time to wait
There’s misery on the alleys, blood on the towns
Poison in the pastures, I know what’s around

And I can’t stay in my world, knowing this is wrong
I will lend a helping hand, this has been for so long
Show me the way Alice, tell me where to start
Guide me with your nobility, with your revolutionary heart

Oh Alice, if I could be like you
How you do it so easily? With sincerity
Sometimes I think you feel, that I’m not being true
It’s still hard Alice, I’m new to this reality

And I watch our companions, hungry and dry
I’ve learn how to feel it, my eyes are open wide
The pain and sorrow, it’s finally shared
And with you at my side, now I know that I care

And I can’t stay in my world, knowing this is wrong
I will lend a helping hand, this has been for so long
Show me the way Alice, tell me where to start
Guide me with your nobility, with your revolutionary heart

.... omg, you're right Randall!! I just spent time exploring this band from Seattle, Washington. Our LFDX would have better-lyrics for these guys!

This group can be sinister-dark (cannibalism, anti-Christ(?), etc.).

btw, I LOVE the 'sounds' and chord progressions of grunge-rock and some gangsta kind of music. Chord progressions just 'get down' and gritty and ~all groady. Just yesssssss. I've heard someone say before that these progressions are 'borrowed' from early & medieval music. I LOVE that era.

I like sexy, even an edgy-taboo daringness, but some stuff just goes over the cliff TOO far.

haha! Gotta be that trine today... Moon Leo, Mars Sag, Venus Aries, in Fire! .... tMars Sag is ON my BML(H12/asc).

Letting it seep into my deepest wild woman instincts, today.

(Warning: The graphics are a bit 'yucky-gross' at the ending.)

(music) Your Decision (Alice In Chains) [4:39] http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2D37POA11KY

Chord progressions..... My FAVORITE Batman movie....

The Music of omg~Stirring and DEEP Evocative Passions from the Pit-Center of the Soul Just, Slay me.......

(music) Chopin's Revolutionary Étude No 12 in C minor, Op 10 (Evgeny Kissin, pianist) [2:45] http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7u6iXQ5_MCA

While I was in college, I had a 3-year side love-affair (just friends and sex, not serious-minded relationship) with an Aries, who was a Concert Pianist. While he practiced, I used to lay down underneath his grand piano, and study. I was content to hear him play scales for hours, or 'pieces' of the same motifs repeating over and over and over again.

My blood just boils listening to this music today.... {{{ }}

Love that Chopin piece you chose Mirage.
Enjoyed your memory about your concert pianist friend, sounds like it was a dreamy time.

You're a really good sport, LFDX! See how Creative you help us to be with sharing your work with us?

Ooooo yes, so much Passion in this place begets MORE Passion.

Music, art, poetry are the Bridge.

Communication AND Love!

And especially with us gemmies, Pearlty, the Love to Communicate!

LOL... It's ALLLLL Good! Tomorrow would be Mr. Aries' Birthday... He had such a unique 'classical' face~~ I swear he had a nose like Chopin!!! ROFL

Thanks again, for your Revolutionary Idea stimulus, LFDX. The Shot heard around the Globe!

Gotta thank you as well, for being inspired for these lyrics.

But I have to thank the sagi woman, my difficult crush, that makes me write these lyrics, her altruist heart and noblity which is far more truer to the causes than mine makes me be more upfront with what's happening in my country, and the few times that I can be with her, are treasured for me.

Hi LF DX. You are a true humanitarian and fighter for justice. It seems this relationship is good for your spirit. I wondered whether you were writing about an actual Alice, made that name up 'cause it fitted, or alluded to Alice in wonderland. You may write if the third guess has any ground, but of course you need not tell whether it's her name or not... obviously.
