It's about the frustration with the Virgo woman I'm trying to make it work, but she's just too complicated, and I can't really get further. She wants to form a heavy blues band as a hobby, but I don't want to musically compromise myself into something that will not go with a proper purpose, more that the sex and stuff... so she got ****** that I didn't want to help her instantly, I told her that if she wants to do this, she must be the one who gives the project the direction and the destiny to go, but she got ****** , then I gave her an song idea, which is Workin' Mama (the lyrics are here)... Yeah, the lyrics are about her, but she have targeted my sensitive spot, the music, and this is the result of it... I don't know how much it will last this..

Your stuff, is your stuff LFDX. Good for you for not selling out with someone who perhaps is only out to take advantage of your good soul? {Heh, my protective ire is up again!! LOL)The SoundCloud..... You KNOW I love your stuff.... Why is the bass so mushy? ... Is that just the limitation of that recording site? It has a slurry effect. If I could suggest?? ... clean up the bass more? Sounds like when you use the right foot pedal on a piano without pumping and releasing so you have ~some blending, but not slush? (I hope I'm making sense? It's been a long time since I studied and used musical terms. I'm so sorry.) I would say make the bass a bit more clear and definite (doesn't have to be loud), just less slurred. This would stand as your 'outside witnesser' of sorts, that would be a clearer base-platform of 'support' of all the other cloudy sounds and bluesy effects you're trying to palpably build on the top of it. I think that might produce an interesting effect, in a way?? Take good care of yourself!  IP: Logged |

At the end of the day most of my worries are that, mortal worries, the girl and I are going well, yeah I'm very fearful and insecure about this relationship cause it's my first approach to the "couple" thing; and that is because we're not formal, and her life approach which is no ******** , and no romance, just living it to the fullest excites me and intimidates me... but at the same time, as each time we have sex, the cuddling, the glances, the moments, well, something it's growing, and I'm just experiencing it as much as it can be...As with the song... I did it all on one session, I was just so inmersed in making the song, that I did some accidental things that made the recording as it is, cause I recorded the guitar and vocals on one take with some guitar plugins, and the distortion ended up going to the vocals as well, and then just recorded the bass as I felt, with no second thoughts... I simply tried to convey the frustration of feeling used by this woman... But as We're hanging out more, well, She isn't a bad woman at all, she's just experiencing a time of changes, and as she gave me a very powerful thing, I'm kinda giving her something different, as she was with the typical big macho guy, and the total sincerity, the intense sexual chemistry and the slow opening, well... things are going good as they can be.
