Nobody be angry. Otto Frank it was found many years later was bribing the man who apparently blew the whistle. The man was blackmailing him. And Otto sent him nearly so much money that he was able to purchase a boat and a house. Nobody ever knew the reason why though. This is my take on it.

"You know we're going to have to tell him," spoke Johannes.
"And lose our livelihood and kill them all most likely!" Retorted Bep.
"This is nonsense! It needs to be said now!" Snapped Viktor, the angriest of them all.

The four helpers had met at Mrs. Guiss's house to discuss the resolution to Miep's alarming revelation.

"She will never forgive us," Miep said.
"She's fifteen, she should have known better!" shouted Viktor, "I blame that idiot boy anyway! So coddled he'd nurse any breast in sight!"

"Anne will never forgive me..." the straw colored hair woman repeated and put her face in her hands.
"Oh, Anne, Anne, Anne..." she sobbed.

Bep began to cry. "Don't cry darling," crooned Johannes in comfort. "I'm sure Mr. Frank will be sympathetic."
"No he won't!" She moaned through her sobs. "You know how he is! He takes any insult, but once the ultimate is reached he is cold and unforgiving!"

"Kick them out!" Yelled Viktor, "let the Gestapo get them and let them rot, they've done nothing to ease any of it, not even greatful! Send Pheffer too!"
"Don't talk like that!" Shouted Miep, her face hot, and her eyes welling with tears out of frustration.

"Viktor, you know they will tell," Johannes said. "And then Otto, Edith and the girls will be left for dead as well."

"He..he...still has his ranks in the Great War, they may spare him with that," stuttered Bep. "But..but..." Breaking out in tears again. "Oh...we can't! We can't, the four of them will most certainly go!"

"Bep you are sure!" Viktor demanded. "You asked her everything that a woman experiences during that, and she said yes to every single one?"

"Not every single one," said Miep. "But..."
"There you are!" Viktor yelled, "she might not be!"

"You are a great fool! It doesn't take every single symptom, just a major one, you know that Viktor!"

"How long does she think?" Asked Johannes to Miep, now gently putting his Wife's wet face into the crook of his shoulder.
"She doesn't know, but I think perhaps two months. What's even stranger, is that she wanted to, she said it was the only thing that would keep them together..."

"She's a stupid adolescent girl!" Viktor yelled again. "You can't do that! What was she thinking?!? Even at that, it was bound to happen! Miep why didn't you tell us they were...sooner!?

"I swore to Anne I wouldn't."

"Well it's a little late now, isn't it!?"

"Viktor! Calm down!" Yelled Johannes. "It's not ideal, but it is, what it is."

"I...I know a man," spoke Bep, "he..he can.."
"No Bep," Miep gasped horrified. "Anne would never forgive any of us."

"Mr Frank will never forgive you for not informing him," spoke Viktor maliciously.
This caused him another glare from Miep's cold face.

"Maybe if we get that man Mr Frank won't throw all of them out," said Johannes.

Jan entered in with tea. He was laughing in exasperation. "You know Otto's going to either way when he finds out."

Viktor gobbled down his tea, then poured a second cup and gobbled it down just as fast.

"We have to do something." Johannes said.
Jan piped. "Pray for the Russians to come?"

"You know in spite of this," spoke Miep. "A part of me believes he wouldn't be as angry if it were Margot. Their's just a way he looks at Anne..sometimes, it seems...he loves her more then Edith, not in love with her, but he loves her more then he could anyone else in the world. It's going to crush him."

"As it rightfully should," replied Johannes.

"I'm taking this into my own hands," Viktor retorted throwing his arms in the air. "Bep what's this man's name? We'll pay him however much he needs."

"Viktor please..." Miep tried.

"Miep," snapped Jan to his Wife. "What about when she begins to show? It's going to get worse. Don't worry about the petty hatred of a child."
"Anne's not a child, in some ways I believe she's the most mature in that attic, but in a different way."

"She's an idiotic teenage girl who has her head in the clouds," scolded Viktor, dumbstruck by these people discussing what they had to do, everyone knew the answer.

"So did you tell her babies come from storks!?" Demanded Viktor in mock humor.

"I told her that I would keep her promise, but also told her what would happen, she asked if he pulled it out before would it work? And then she blushed and said 'Peter can't hold it in for long anyway.' So, I told her she was playing with fire, but it reduced the chances."

Johannes nodded, "Anne has a way of taking anything to the extreme to suit her moods."

Miep sat back down defeated. "Why Anne, why!" Her mind exploded.

But Miep had always secretly known this would happen. For some strange reason, the 35-year-old woman had found a best friend in the 15-year-old girl. And it was almost something that she as a young school girl may swear to her most admired female friend.
