Howl howl, a howl in the streets
It grows as you bend on your knees
The echoes they make me freeze
It’s a call from the skies, that’s for sure

I watch the decay of mankind
And the dissolution of the minds
They no longer listen to nature’s sounds
The earthly connection, so pure

Can they hear your calling?
What you try to say dear wind?
Are you yearning, are you pining?
Or is it me who needs a cure

I can hear the midnight lullaby
As the drunken sing about defeat
No I don’t want to give up yet
The answer is around, somewhere

I march through violence and strife
Death’s round the corner, waiting
I’ll follow the sound and stay alive
At the cost of feeling bare

Down by the river, the sun is rising
Your voice is loud and clear
It says “be free and keep following
My path without mortal fears”

Now as the days gone by
I go wherever the wind blows
I’ll let people find their own way
They just need the will to hear…
