I’ve been meek and mild
The saint of this town
But I’m tired to pretend I’m content
I’m ready for something new

I’ve met the wild beasts
And I’ve seen the fangs and claws
Am I willing to be the feast?
No, I’ll be the conqueror of the land

My thoughts are now scattered
Between the past and the future
Where once I was a failure
And here where I’m a success

And the river of emotions
Flows with a raging passion
But I won’t make any tragedies
Of heartbreak and distress

I sense the world looks for me
Well I’ll be always on my own
With my faithful companions
Going where the blues roams free

The chains of repression
They are breaking down
I can’t be the one I was
No, I didn’t came to survive

You opened the doors of perception
The world’s now a different place
You came to give me something
Transcending all labels and barriers

And I’ll give love, and I’ll give freedom
I’ll have wisdom in exchange
A love without boundaries
Is worth more without its mortal ties

Fearless expression of emotions, and in the end there is a sound of Buddhism. Could it be?

What I love about reading someone else's writing is the experience of having that person put your feelings into word or have them speak your private thoughts. It's another way of touching, reaching, connecting...Or a connection offering...Thank you.
