Sometimes I wonder, what’s wrong with me I look at the mirror, and I cannot see The face of a lie, the skull of a fool Life’s been just a surreal jokeI’d hate to be the one at the throne I’ll have nothing but buckets of gold False companions and drugged to the bones And I’ll be a medieval clown I was born as a loser of the mightiest kind Raising my voice was a domestic crime I could never feel I was a proper man I never felt I could be brave and strong I was the feast of the hypocrites The puppet of the parasites That called themselves the alphas The alphas of destroying humanities So I hid beneath the deadbeats The real heroes of the land And the witches gave me a healing Brighter than the religious holy hands They taught me the world is not that black Nor it’s meant to be like that Like the visions of the fascists rats That believe your image it’s what you are So the man is made to be himself Love is all that matters my friend I won’t abide to the rules of mankind I am the meaning of liberty And my name it’s not what I am I am the storm howling in the sky I am the strength and the weakness I am the beginning and I’m the end I am what I’m meant to be

Interesting reflection about identity, very personal and yet universal.IP: Logged |

Seems to have some light wispy references to lines from Shakespeare's Hamlet?IP: Logged |

Well written, and I like the conclusive realization in your ending line. IP: Logged |
