When Sati had gone to her Father's Palace after marrying Shiva, he cursed her. For, Daksha had wanted Sati to marry a rich Lord as she was his favorite daughter and she had loved Shiva against his wishes. Taking this as an insult, she immolated herself. When Shiva had learned what had happened to his Wife, he threw himself into a rage. He began the Dance of Tandava fiercer then he ever had before and the world quaked so much that it almost ended. Daksha was beheaded and the guests of the Palace were killed as well.
After he had calmed down. He carried Sati's charred body for several days before retiring to the Tibetan Mountains in grief until Sati would take birth again as Parvati.
Daksha was later pacified and given the head of a goat.

Shiva and Parvati looked down at their incarnations from their celestial abode.
"Does it have to be this way Shiva?" She asked.
"It always has to be this way Parvati." He replied.
Anne and Peter were sitting in the attic looking out the window as they did often.
"Do you remember five thousand years ago when we sat on the grass of the Palace in the warm sun, free of tyranny? We were older, it seems not fair that they should be little more then children and in this cold damp place."

"It's not fair," spoke Anne to Peter. "We won't ever grow up will we?"
He gave her a kiss on the cheek. "Yes we will." He replied gently. But inside he knew that it was most likely hopeless. Though, he wouldn't let Anne be in pain in any regard.

"Shiva, we are going to die by our own son!" Parvati yelled at him. For, Ganesha's incarnation had again taken to his favorite symbol, that which the west knew as the sign of evil, but was in fact the sign of justice in its ancient form.
But, Hitler could not be blamed in some regard he was doing only what his soul had been commanded to do so that seventy years later the world could be liberated for purity by evil.
Shiva shot her a sharp look.

"I hate Hitler," said Anne. "But, I think deep down inside he is a good person, maybe he just never was given love. He doesn't know how to love, what do you think?"
Peter shrugged his shoulders.
"You never listen!" Anne yelled. And he rolled his eyes.

"But like this Shiva?" Parvati was beginning to weep. "I can't stand to see what is going to happen to us. And by me no less."
"It has to be this way Parvati, I understand it has never been this...terrible and cruel, but it has to be this way."

"Are the rumors true do you think?" Anne asked Peter in a frightened voice.
Again he shrugged his shoulders. "Don't think about that." He said giving her a smile.

"Do you like him Pim?" She asked her Father. He was reading a news article, sitting on his bed, and Anne was laying on his lap, staring adoringly at her father.
"You've asked me this before Anne." He replied. "I told you, I think he may have some potential to be your husband. But he is your first boyfriend, and first boyfriend's don't last, besides we will get out of here."
Of course, Otto didn't want Anne to marry Peter, and after this he didn't want to be associated with the VanPells in any regard. He wasn't good enough for Anne, he was lazy, unmotivated, and his intelligence was one for questioning. Also, the Augusta and Herman had greatly demonstrated their rudeness for his hospitality. Otto understood that it was just the conditions making everyone hostile, but, they could have made some effort to be grateful as they were in the beginning and due to this, he would not have their son inherit any of his wealth.
"Is anyone good enough for Anne though?" Edith had asked him once before bed. She agreed with him that Anne shouldn't marry Peter and that it was just a passing romance that Anne seemed to be obsessed with. But, at the same time it pained her that her husband and daughter should have this come between their close bond.
It was adorable when Anne in her highchair had called him "Pim." And as Anne was growing she had begun to think of why she had called him this. In her mind she was starting to discern that she meant by this; Papa is mine."
"Yes, some day she will travel the world, just like she wants and marry a good and respectful husband."
But Edith knew that any man who wanted Anne's hand would have to be extremely special to impress her husband. Anne was a very bright girl and the more she grew, the more Otto loved her.

Parvati sighed. The night had come, the night that Augusta had discovered them in the attic.
"Look away," said Shiva and pressed her head into his arm.
The sound of shock Peter's Mother had given awakened the house, and Anne and Peter briskly dressed knowing well what was about to transpire, both very fearful.
"What are you going on about!" Demanded Herman. And stomped up the stairs.
"Oh...they were, weren't they?" He said in anger upon seeing them, and came at his son with fury.
"No! No! Herman!" She yelled trying to restrain him as the man's fists were upon the boy.
Fritz had awakened in a scream thinking the NAZI's had found them. Which awakened Edith, Otto, and Margot who jumped in her parent's bed in terror.
But, Otto who rarely remembered his dreams had been awakened remembering a goat had been in the attic, and this was his first instinct.
Edith tried to hold to her husband's arm but he was out of the bed. He didn't know what he would see, as he made his way towards his daughter's favorite place, but he knew it wasn't the Gastapo.
He walked in on the scene. He had never seen Herman beat his son so hard and Anne's face was in her hands crying.
"Herman!" He yelled which stopped the man dead in the act. Augusta then rushed to her son both were sobbing.
"What happened?" Otto said.
Herman was silent. He had always known that the boy would get them kicked out.
Now Fritz had rushed up into the attic, and Anne ran past him into her room.
Edith was in the kitchen and saw her daughter.
"Anne?" she said, and followed the girl who collapsed upon her bed. Edith began to comfort her daughter and inquire as gently as she could.
"What happened?" Otto demanded now in an abhorrent manner.
"Oh, Otto! Otto! Please take pity on my son!" Yelled Augusta.
Margot knew it probably wasn't wise but she began turned on the lights in the place and as the one in the attic was switched on, Mr. Frank's face was turning blood red and his personage was frozen.
Otto hardly lost his temper or got into a rage, the worse it had happened thus far is when Fritz had yelled at him that he kept them as prisoners. So, when he did, it was very much feared by the inhabitants. More so because his way of dealing with such feelings was a deadly silence that whoever caught the eye of was struck with alarming horror.
And now it was on Peter more apparent then it had ever been before.
"You were lying on my daughter weren't you?" He could hardly utter hoarsely.
Otto turned and walked down the stairs, he lit a cigarette and walked to Anne's room.
"Papa?" said Margot wearily as he passed her who was now in the attic with the others.
He walked into Anne's room.
"Edith out," he said. "Otto...Otto.." she began. "Out!" He yelled. It shocked everyone as they heard it, he had never yelled before since in the two years.
He shut her door and they were alone.

Very interesting. I agree with Pearlty.
Do you have a complete novel already, whichever?

I always have novels going, hahahaha.
When I was thirteen I began my first novel which I got fifty pages into on Microsoft Word. Splitting this in half for an actual book would be 100 pages. This was about Queen Nefertiti.
At fifteen I began my second major novel, about Queen Catherine of Aragon, I got seventy five pages into it, so, 150 in an actual book.
The one I got the farthest on was one I began at sixteen about Queen Elizabeth of York, and in an actual book it would equal 300 pages as I got in Word 150 pages into it, give or take a few.
But, yes, I would love to write a novel. This however, is for short story...

Well, I'd love to read your stories. Why not publish them?
