3 am

Alone again
Another night
With myself
In empty light

I dream of love
Heavy breath racy
Giggles in sheets
dark rain'd intimacy

A lazy paw around my neck
My arms reach out and pull in
This strength encircles you
Now safe within

I hold you deep inside me
As you held me in you
Circles in circles
Our energy flows through

But reality intrudes
This bed is empty, always empty
The sheets abandoned
My arms are crippled
These muscles broken and spasmed

Unwanted, undesirable
Day after day
Year after year
Minute by minute

By myself

Can relate to this on occasion, myself.
I like your ability to reveal in a real sense
just how those empty hours feel.

Full of emotion, so tangible, heart rending.

THANK YOU!

I want to write more about what I'm going through, and I want to recite it, but I am afraid that because I am a man, if I talk about these things, especially the anger and pain, then people will freak out.

But when I write, it lets out a lot of the terrible pressure.

Do you think I could read this in a crowd of people?

I am a man, and as I learned how to sing my songs, and played them to the crowds, my life became so much better all around, met a lot of people, got lots of great experiences, and it releases a lot of pressure, fears and expectations.

The point is, you can do it, let yourself try, it can be a very rewarding experience.

I'm laughing because I started to write you a reply that said I wasn't afraid of how people felt about what I wrote, I have no problem engaging with people, what I am frightened of is being arrested.

And as I wrote that I started laughing both because I realized how ridiculous that scenario is, and also because I realized that's probably the best thing that any poet or writer could experience.

I mean, lets' face it, Oscar Wilde would have loved it if he got arrested and executed for soemthing he wrote.

Now that I think of it, the only thing I should really be afraid of is if people yawn!

Arrested? What the freaking for?
Yea, sure, as LF DX said, let it out!
