ACT III - FIREFACE

We are in a different dance now,
one you can't remember.
This isn't to the west,
where we slept in blissful slumber.

Between those rocky peaks,
to where 'What was done to me,'
I recall a remnant
of utter certainty.

A mind's eye knowing,
that those pines ought know.
I will see you rearward in time,
all those bittersweet months ago.

I'll relish the recall,
of the marks we set in the snow.
Your fire-face burnt in my memory,
I have to let go.
