Mother, has it ever been I caused you pain?
Has it ever dawned on you, that I was in disdain?
I have beclouded the mourning, to appease you,
For lo’ mother, my love for you is pure and true,
Noble your deeds have casted, bliss in me,
Poignant your sacrifices, compelled the glee,
Precious little tender, conceived in your womb,
I perceive you today, in wrinkles and gloom,
Endeavor of valor, outside home I show,
As a tender foetus, in your heart I grow,
With several truth and lies, we have built this bond,
Liking floating swans, coupled in ponds,
Paddling with piousness, chirping for home,
They twist the passage, to live through norms,
Infant a pigeon, splatters its wings,
As you anxiously see, advent of warming spring,
Agility has gone, now you tediously walk,
Few discern in youth, at your pace they mock,
Sitting silently in shade, snapshots we see,
How in nimbleness you raised, my brother and me,
But lo’ mother, now I adopt you as my child,
