Burning up with volatile flames
Seething and crackling under my skin
This pent up edginess of anger and frustration
I cannot let it do me inThe rage of sheer injustice
of all the shattered dreams
the somedays that have vaporized
It makes me want to scream The trust that was not broken, but decimated
I'm still aching from its loss,
Still trying to decide if deeply loving
is even worth the cost? And then there's sexual tension
A lust to be touched and teased
No matter how much I try to suppress is
It keeps seeking out release I don't find satisfaction in solitude
I need that two-way contact
So I'm doomed to feel this burning within,
and yet I have no option on how to react As these waves of passion and rage overwhelm me,
I feel pulled into the stream,
I'm losing my way and must find an outlet
So I can return to peaceful dreams

It seems like you found an outlet... You tell the story of many, who feel restless and forsaken in a way... Who need a release, an escape from an impossible situation. IP: Logged |

Thank you, Ayelet  I only hope I can put their emotion to words in a way that helps...I wish writing soothed my soul more than just feeling like words overflowing onto the page. ------------------

Perhaps this is the creative process, which allows you first to release, than to alchemise.. Being able to put an emotion into words is dealing with it. It is more than just overflowing onto the page. But one may not know it immediately. IP: Logged |
