It seems like you want a vacation from melodrama. Maybe you feel like you need to reorient your heart towards what's good for you. It could be that, above all, you need your peace of mind, your private inner island with no "invaders" as for now. In much appreciated solitude, you could sort right from wrong, and arrive at a better standard of self-love.

Thanks for the bump, Randall!

I am feeling more open to love lately...not that it has *found* me, but I'm less inclined to run screaming if the opportunity arose. We shall see what the next few months bring
