It's a very interesting article. ------------------ The truth is a brilliant, many-sided diamond. The great life fills this gem and colors from every side. "In 1987, when I left TM and Fairfield, I had lived 17 years within the movement’s perimeters. I’d seen the world go from flower power to mantra power. My friends had changed from buoyant folks delighting in free expression to paranoid people with phony smiles and legislated attitudes. It took me two years to break free of the thinking that kept me in Maharishi’s orbit. It felt traumatic, like a failed marriage. I didn’t know what was happening, but I knew I could no longer be part of it".IP: Logged |

-------"The mind is now deflected from experiencing pure consciousness in meditation. Advanced techniques inhibit that because the mind is too busy putting out for its deity, the god of the mantra, too busy “bowing down” to That. The gods harvest human consciousness, a source and storehouse of energy. Our life force becomes their food, and they receive it through the worship of advanced meditation." Hey Listen to Trees, that was a very interesting article. I have a quick question. Why were the gods they were meditating to and doing mantras to able to derive energy from there consciousness. Why would a "god" need that?

I don't know. I am just a fellow pilgrim, searching for answers. I like to keep an open mind about things. Things which are neither provable, nor disprovable. IP: Logged |
