I don't have heat either Lexx. Or Tv. Or internet (am using all the above at the ex's right now)So, I can honestly say, I FEEL YOUR PAIN. Literally, it's so cold that my bones are aching and creaking like I am a 90 year old. But, nonetheless, I DO wish you luck, and warmth, and happy things to come, the quicker the better. IP: Logged |

Sorry to hear this ladies. To me, hell is a freezing cold place. Being cold is the absolute worse feeling in the world. Yes, it's painful, down to your bones. Especially if you are sensitive to cold anyway. This is a huge reason why I moved. If I had extra money, you know I would send it both of your ways. It's good that you have family or friends to help in some way though. Even if just some body heat. It's tough to make it in this world and especially as a single person with no one to fall back on. The economy doesnt help matters either. I feel your pain and hope situations improve quickly. IP: Logged |

LEXX, you should close your eyes and imagine the sun beating down on your body, some people say it works. lolI tried once, it did not work for me! But, you can have the warmth in my heart for you and covers- covers may give more warmth since I can't actually sit you inside my heart lol. I'm so cheesy today. I do wish you luck. I am also going to email you. Yep, sure am. And I'll probably talk alot there too, like I am here. Why you may ask? I don't know. I'm in a good mood. I'm gonna write you the longest email yuo've ever got about warmth and sun and heat and hot sidewalks and slurpees- no not slurpees they're cold. But I do love cherry slurpees. Yep, gonna email, but breakfast first cause food is yum. Not that breakfast comes before me trying to make you think of warmth but I mean you have to try the exercise I suggested so I mean while you try that I will make breakfast. Mkay then. xoxo IP: Logged |

Ohio is a weird place Pire.I grew up in NJ, and there was a definition between spring and summer, not so here in Ohio, or at least in the past few years. In recent years it has been cold clear throughout April, and sometimes into May, and then suddenly it goes straight to summer. Very strange. ~ Lexx, I just re-read your first post. That sucks about the dishes! Yikes, wish I could help you out somehow. I don't have any dirty dishes, because I have no stove, so cannot cook!!! I am drinking cup after cup of hot chocolate (microwave) and seriously thinking about buying a bottle of liqour! Only trouble with using liquor for warmth is that it only works for a little while and then you get even colder. Brr. Do we have a shivering icon?? IP: Logged |

When we moved here in 1994 (to Garrettsville), from California, it snowed close to my birthday. 2004, it snowed in the early hours of my birthday - I'd been exercising in the middle of the night, so expected to feel a little cold afterwards, but not freezing - opened up the door to let the dogs out, and saw snow covering the deck. (mid-April.) It was the same in England... that's one thing I miss about California (but then the grass would turn brown, after a while, from the lack of rain - one thing I prefer about Ohio, when we get enough rain).IP: Logged |

My ex's mom just loaned us money to to get furnace fixed, or at least looked at. but check won't clear until tomorrow at best. But what freaky timing! She lives like 120+ miles away and just got back from Texas. She was the last person I expected to pull into our driveway a few minutes ago! Even though she knows her son is my ex now; she is still very kind to me. God Bless you B IP: Logged |
