My sister and I, as toddlers in California: I just logged into this account for the first time in months, and found a bunch of cat pictures. Teasie, a year ago: Okay, this unfortunately pertains to me, too: I'm supposed to be cleaning, and end up sitting here instead. IP: Logged |

A bull in our garden on November 5th. My main question? what took it so long? I felt like I'd been swimming in BS - like Sophia on the Golden Girls saying, "You need boots listening to this guy!" (paraphrased.) We really are living the "good old days" as CPN/firecracker reminded us a year ago: IP: Logged |

Thanks, lotus. It's odd that you posted when you did, because I've been feeling down all day, but started to feel really depressed about fifteen minutes before you posted here. IP: Logged |

I'm sorry, I missed this evanski. I did start crying. I logged into that account to look for one thing, and ended up finding all of these pictures that I'd forgotten I added there. Thank you. And the pictures did turn out huge. sorry. I thought I'd edited them down. IP: Logged |

I need to reply to more of you, but my head is killing me. I wanted to post a picture of something, but the recipient visits, so I can't. Will post it when it's finished and sent off. Happy New Year. IP: Logged |

I remember being amazed and horrified, when I spoke to a young man in 1996, on AOL, who lived in New England, and admitted in his profile, that he was a group that raised money for Sinn Fein, and had "Up the IRA!" there, as well. He was posting on various UK boards, and posted on the English one, looking for an "English Rose". I told him as politely as possible, that he was bonkers if he thought an English girl would fall in love with him, when he supported terrorists who had terrorized and killed people in England, and their own Northern Ireland. This just reminded me of that: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bqZsk7-JrVs - I was ****** when I found out that we were living in a country that allowed fundraising for terrorists - those who went after *my* people. I was told that the Kennedy's supported them, since they were of Irish heritage. I've never been much of a fan. IP: Logged |

I've been reading through what's left of a few old threads here. I wish I'd been spending more time here back then ~ I missed out on what sound like interesting and (some) fun posts by some lovely people. I've been meaning to declutter around here since before the New Year (long before). I keep finding other distractions, though. Maybe tonight... I have a flower essence that appears to be working for me: Tomato essence by Master's Essences. I realized last night that I felt no tension in my body, and no real worry either - something I've unfortunately grown so used to, that it takes me by surprise when I feel relaxed. I think that's the connection anyway, because I took some just after Christmas, and felt the same way. IP: Logged |

I'll be back later - my stomach is really messed up -I wanted to link to this: http://laist.com/2011/11/18/laist_interview_anna_david_author_o.php I started to read her book in Barnes & Noble, last night, and ordered it in from the library. I keep stumbling across people who say, "you are right where you're supposed to be." I hope so! and I wish I could have believed that for the past few years. IP: Logged |
